to ensure the safety of the staff and clients of Miss Jay’s we are following a number of covid-safe protocols.
Please follow directions from our team for the following during your appointment times.
If you are feeling unwell in any way, please stay at home. This will also continue to be enforced with our staff.
Miss Jay’s has always been a very open social environment but at this stage, please don’t bring any friends or family to your appointment to reduce the amount of people in our salon.
When entering the salon please head through to one of the hand basin areas to wash your hands, using soap and hands-free tap operation. Hand sanitiser will also be applied to both client and technician before beginning any treatment.
Please stay 1.5 metres away from others at all times. All treatment areas will abide by these distancing rules.
You will be taken through to your treatment area straight away to minimise gathering around the front of the salon.
There will be 2 waiting chairs provided but if you are early, please wait in your car or outside until your appointment time.
We have given buffer times in between appointments to reduce client crossover and sufficient time to thoroughly clean and sanitise each work area being used.
All staff will be wearing a new set of gloves with each treatment and masks will be worn for every service.
During payment and rebooking, please remain at your manicure or pedicure station so we can finalise the appointment in safe social distancing spaces. For waxing services, we will meet you in a safe space outside the waxing rooms.
